How to use V-Hub Tag / QR cupping

V-Hub Tag helps you remember interesting coffees — and now it's built around cupping. With a smartphone, you can scan a coffee's QR code, add your own evaluation, and keep the record linked to that coffee.

What you need A smartphone with a QR code reader. On iPhones the camera has built-in QR scanning; on Android you can use the camera or a QR scanner app.

How it works

  1. Find the QR code for the coffee you're interested in — it appears on the listing and on sample materials.
  2. Scan the QR code with your phone's camera.
  3. The cupping page opens for that coffee.
  4. Cup the coffee and enter your evaluation: flavour notes, quality attributes, and your own score.
  5. Save — your evaluation is recorded and linked to that coffee.

Why it's useful

  • You never lose track of a sample you were interested in.
  • Your evaluations are stored on V-Hub, so you can compare lots side by side later.
  • When you're ready to buy, your notes help you decide.

Sending yourself a reminder You can also email your evaluation to yourself, so the details of a sample are in your inbox when you need them.
