How to add origins and locations to V-Hub
Origins describe where your coffees come from — the producer, farm, or cooperative behind them. Create your origins before you add listings, so every coffee can be displayed with the full story about its origin.
Origins help buyers find your coffees and learn about your relationships with the producers you buy from.
Information fields
The minimum required information is:
- Origin name
- Type (cooperative, association, farm, mill)
- Country
Recommended fields — the more you provide, the more buyers can filter by, and the more trust you build:
- Farm name
- Producer name
- Founded
- Altitude (in meters)
- Region / subregion
- Farm size (in hectares)
- Coffee growing area (in hectares)
- Producer story

Adding origins
- Log in to V-Hub and go to your dashboard.
- Open the locations/origins section (e.g. "+ Add origin" in the quick links).
- Choose Add one to enter a single origin, or Add many to import several at once.
Add many (bulk import)
The process has four steps:
- Upload — import your origin information from a spreadsheet (.xlsx or .csv), or enter it manually into the online spreadsheet. Drag and drop the file or choose it from your computer, then continue.
- Mapping — match your spreadsheet columns to the V-Hub information fields. Use "Edit" to open the field list and assign each column; skip any column you don't want on V-Hub. Continue when done.
- Prefill — if a mandatory field (origin name, country, or type) was not mapped, choose a default value here so every row gets filled. Continue.
- Import — review the imported rows. Fix any invalid fields (shown in red) and check the matched fields (shown in yellow), then save.

You'll see a confirmation, then you can go to the overview to see all your saved origins.
Add one
Enter the origin information, add images (and video where supported) to help buyers connect with the origin, then save.
Congratulations — you're ready to add your coffees!
